Meet Dr. Paul E. DiFranco (email)
Dr. Paul was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. He received his undergraduate education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Dr. Paul then pursued further academic training with a fellowship in Craniofacial Research for one year, and then went on to complete his Orthodontic Residency at the University of Kentucky, where he earned his Masters Certificate (M.S.). In order to keep up with the latest technology and increase his knowledge in the field of orthodontics, Dr. Paul loves to attend continuing education courses in orthodontics. Dr. Paul is a third generation dentist. He began his pursuit of Orthodontics at a young age while assisting his uncle Paul A. DiFranco at his orthodontic practice. Dr. Paul is very excited to continue the family name in orthodontics and care for patients in the Chicagoland area.
Dr. Paul joined the Forest Park Orthodontics practice in June of 2013.
He is an active member of the ADA (American Dental Association), the AAO (American Association of Orthodontists), the ABO (American Board of Orthodontics), the ISO (Illinois Society of Orthodontists), the ISDS (Illinois State Dental Society), the American Association of Dental Research (AADR), International Association of Dental Research (IADR), and the Arcolian Dental Society (ADS).

Dr. Paul’s master of science degree research was entitled, “Association Analysis of Genetic Markers within the Activin?-A and Activin?-B Genes and Non-3rd-Molar Naturally Missing Teeth.” This has been submitted for publication.
Dr. Paul met his wife, Alison, while attending Miami University. They married in December 2009 and enjoy running, golfing, cooking, dancing and spending time with their family and friends.
When asked what he loves about his job? “What I love most about my job is building lasting relationships with my patients and their families.”
Meet Dr. Nick Riccio (email)
Nick Riccio, DMD, is a Chicagoan originally from Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He attended dental school at the University of Pittsburgh and completed his orthodontic residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Nick is a licensed specialist in orthodontics and board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is also certified in Damon braces, lingual braces, LASER, and Invisalign.
Dr. Nick aims to provide the highest level of orthodontic care for patients of all ages by using the best technology and the most advanced techniques available while putting an emphasis on comfort and speed of treatment. He loves the challenge of getting the best smile and bite possible out of people with all shapes and sizes of crooked teeth—while making it fun for the patients and their families.
Dr. Nick enjoys running every day, rock climbing often, skateboarding around the city and playing frisbee/football at the park or beach with his friends and dogs. He loves seeing movies and trying to win the movie trivia night at his local theater. Dr. Nick is also fond of traveling and eating his way through the Chicago food scene with his girlfriend, Susan. He is fluent in Spanish, loves to teach, has never broken a bone, but has a dental implant due to a sledding accident as a child (try to guess which one is the “fake”!).
Dr. Nick loves making people smile—which he can do with jokes and braces. We are thrilled to have him at Forest Park Orthodontics, and know you will be, too.
